Conceptually this piece started nearly a year ago with a discussion about the ways in which my life has been shaped by my personal experience with medicine and technology. Ultimately I decided to go down a route of exploring the idea that we create the technology that then shapes our lives in a cyclical way. I was very happy with how the effects turned out as they were, outside of the chest opening, produced in studio with constructed props rather than leaning into my experience in 3D effects.
